2024 Stimulus Payment. Individuals who do file taxes, and believe they are eligible for an economic impact payment, but haven’t received one will be able to claim their payment when they file their 2020 tax. Eligible individuals will receive an economic impact payment of up to $600 for individuals or $1200 for married couples and up to $600 for each qualifying child.
The irs has announced that eligible individuals, particularly new parents from 2021, can still claim $1400 stimulus checks by filing their tax returns by may 17, 2024. The annual income limit for individuals is $75,000, with those earning over $80,000 potentially receiving a reduced payment.
